Friday Finds, statement Bedding

If there’s one pet peeve I have as a stylist, it’s finding bedding that matches my style. Sure there’s bedding for every other style out there — japandi, tranditional, farmhouse, contemporary, industrial, global, etc. — but where’s the bedding for people who like giant dragon sculptures and boomboxes as art? Where is the statement bedding? Slim pickings, I’m telling you. But because I’m such an amazing Pinterest-er, I’ve come across some finds that could pique my interest.

(heads up — this is not a sponsored post, but I participate in the LTK program and I may receive a small commission if you purchase something)

SAGE AND CLARE

Sage & Clare is an Australian company (don’t worry they ship to the US!) that makes colorful, hippie/granola type of bedding — ding ding ding. Normally I would caution against getting all of your bedding in one place, but go ahead with this shop — add it all to cart because it’s all so much fun and goes so well together!

Dusen Dusen

Sometimes I feel silly adding obvious choices to this list, but I’ve got to remember that not everyone is looking all day for new fun finds like I am and companies like Dusen Dusen might be new to some folks. Plus, I would be remissed not to include them on a list like this because they are so ubiquitous with bold interiors! Dusen Dusen is known for its pop art and naive art influenced design.

Marimekko

If I could only shop at one store for the rest of my life, it would be Marimekko. No, I’m serious. I would buy my underwear there if they stocked them, they have such beautiful products. I have their bathrobes, vases, sheets, jumpsuits… so it stands to reason they would have some cool-as-shit bedding!
